Tony Coates is a primarily acoustic musician born and raised in Windsor, Ontario. It's hard to put your finger on the genre at first -- which touches on blues, soul, indie, country, r&b -- but it does grab your full attention. With soulful vocals, an organic sound, and heartfelt lyrics he brings a new sound to acoustic music. Tony has released his demo online (tonycoates.bandcamp.com) entitled Acoustic, which is also the name of a song on the record. And is planning the release of his EP, which is currently untitled, in the Fall of 2010.
